How to Play

Play Extreme Baseball online for free. Extreme Baseball is a 24-level swing aiming game where you hit baseballs at other players. Knock over all the players using few balls and collect all the baseball cards scattered on the levels to earn up to a 3-star rating on each stage. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the PLAY button near the lower left of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- Your web browser shows your game progress.
- The welcome screen has a SETTINGS button right of the PLAY button. Selecting the SETTINGS button enables you to control game sound and music settings.

    - Use your mouse cursor to aim & the left click button to swing the bat to hit a baseball.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Tap the screen with a finger to hit a baseball.
      - Controls & indicators
        
        There is a pause button in the upper right corner.
        
        The pause button reveals a menu which allows you to control game sound, control game music, restart the current level, resume play, or go back to the game menu.
        
        Across the bottom the screen shows what level number you are on, how many baseballs you have remaining to hit, and how many baseball cards you have collected.
        
        The level select screen shows which levels you have unlocked and the star rating you earned on each level.
        
        Game Play
        
        Basics
        
        You play as a baseball player seeking to knock out the other baseball players by hitting baseballs at them.
        
        Your swing is overhead, caveman club style.
        
        You can hit direct shots or ricochet the balls off of walls and platforms.
        
        Try to knock out all the other players and collect all the baseball cards using as few balls as possible to earn a high star rating.
        
        You can hit baseballs in rapid succession, though it is generally better to hit them one at a time.
        
        Features
        
        Levels contain a number of players you have to knock down as well as the following:
        
        fixed platforms – your ball can ricochet off them a number of times after you hit it
        
        wooden boxes – the ball destroys any wooden box it hits, but the ball is also instantly destroyed
        
        metal boxes – the ball ricochets off the metal boxes & can knock them over
        
        TNT – explodes when hit by the ball, destroying the ball and nearby enemies
        
        explosive barrels – explodes when hit by the ball, destroying the ball and nearby enemies
        
        switches – switches change the position of a movable platform after they are hit
        
        Levels
        
        This game has 24 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
        
        Each level has a unique board layout, ball limit, number of enemies, and number of baseball cards.
        
        You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any point in time.
        
        Winning vs losing
        
        You beat a level by knocking over all the other players before you run out of balls.
        
        If you fail a level you can replay it as this game offers unlimited continues.
        
        Scoring
        
        You can earn up to a 3-star rating on each level.
        
        Earning a 3-star rating requires collecting all the baseball cards on the level and knocking down all the opponents using a limited number of balls.
        
        Strategy
        
        Remember when you hit the hit is from an overhead position, so if you want to ricochet the ball upward sometimes you will need to hit it into the ground to get the right angle on it.
        
        If there is a switch on the level be sure to take out anything the platform could block before hitting the switch.
        
        Even if there is a direct shot for an enemy it can be helpful to think of how to shoot a ricochet at an angle so that you can take out multiple enemies with your shot.
        
        If your ball will eventually hit a wood block, an explosive barrel, or TNT see if there is an angle where you can hit something else first as the ball will disappear after hitting any of those.
        
        If you can beat a level but are struggling to earn 3 stars on it play other stages then later come back to it.
        
        Target Audience
        
        The game is suited for players who like baseball or ricochet physics games.
        
        The game has no adult themed content.
