Yellow Ball Adventure is an 18-stage rolling physics puzzle platformer & level escape game where you help a yellow ball make it to the finish line on each stage while picking up as many stars as you can along the way. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the brown button with the blue triangle on it on the game loading screen to bring up the game’s welcome screen.

- Initially only the first level is accessible.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including beat levels and level star ratings.
- The welcome screen has a sound control button in the upper right corner. Under the play button are two buttons for game developer information and play more games.
- Game Controls
  - Desktop
    - Use the left and right arrow keys to move left and right.
    - Use the up arrow key to jump.
    - When you move you have horizontal momentum that you need to slow down in order to stop if you want to remain stationary on a fixed platform.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Use the on screen controls.
      - The move left and right buttons are in the lower left.
      - The jump button is in the lower right.
      - Game Play
        
        Levels
        
        The only criteria to beat a level is that you make it to the finish line.
        
        Dying is rather easy, as you die if you fall off platform or hit any spikes or spinning blades.
        
        Star ratings
        
        Your star rating is based on how many stars you pick up while you play through a level.
        
        You can earn up to a 3-star rating on each level.
        
        If you get 2 stars on a play and replay the level you’ll need to get all 3 stars on the subsequent playthrough to get a 3-star rating.
        
        Platforms
        
        Vertical platforms move up and down. When you land on them you may bounce a few times. Similarly, if you jump off a platform after it reaches its zenith you will bounce on the platform before being able to jump.
        
        Horizontal platforms move left and right. When you land on them you have to adjust your horizontal spin to travel with them at roughly the speed they are moving not to fall off platform.
        
        Swinging platforms swing in an arch. They behave more like horizontal platforms than vertical platforms, though are at their vertical highest points when they are at the left or right edge of their path.
        
        Spikes & blades
        
        This game has fixed spikes, swinging blades, blades that run along the ground, and free floating blades that spin around the perimeter of a platform.
        
        Fixed spikes are easy – they don’t move so simply do not run into them. In some cases you have to land on a narrow edge of a platform with spikes to get out of the way of ground blades, particularly if you try to get a 3-star rating on every level.
        
        Swinging blades are tied to a rope. You generally want to move hard horizontally when they are near a zenith point, then slow down before falling off platform.
        
        Ground blades move back and forth. It is important to map out where the edge of their travel path is to stand beyond it. In some cases a platform can have multiple ground blades on it.
        
        Free floating blades move around in a circle around a platform. In general it is typically safe to stand in the center of those platforms with the blade circling around you.
        
        Target Audience
        
        The game is suited for players who like rolling ball level escape games card games.
        
        The game has no adult themed content.
