How to Play

Play Blockzzle online for free. Blockzzle is a simple 30-stage colored block stacking game where players must create stacks of same-colored blocks to send electricity across to lightbulbs. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the green and white play button on the game’s welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

    - Use your mouse left click button to select a block & drag it where you want to play it.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Tap the screen with a finger to select a block & drag it where you wish to play it.
      - Controls & indicators
        The upper right corner of the game has a pause button.
        Above each puzzle the game shows what level number you are on.
        The level select screen shows which levels you have unlocked.
        Game Play
        Stacking
        Selecting & moving blocks
        When you select a block you can only select the top block in a stack.
        You can only stack blocks where the color of the block you are placing is the same color as the top block on the stack you are moving it to, or you are moving the block to an empty column.
        Completing your stacks
        When you complete the game each functional lightbulb should have a stack of 4 lights underneath it.
        If you have more stacks than functional lightbulbs make the other stacks on empty rows.
        Burned out lightbulbs appear about halfway through the game. Do not leave a full stack underneath burned out lightbulbs.
        The early levels of the game include 2 stacks which must be completed across 3 columns. Later levels have 3 stacks which must be completed across 5 columns.
        You can move completed stacks to other columns if you build it then decide it should be located in a different column.
        Levels
        This game has 30 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
        You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
        A level is considered beat when each stack of blocks is 4 blocks tall, same colored, there is a stack below each functional lightbulb lighting it up, and the columns under a burned out lightbulb are empty.
        You can’t “lose” in this game, as if your stacks do not satisfy the criteria to win you can make further adjustments. There is no time limit or move limit.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like simple block mover games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
